Developing as an Intrapreneurial & Logistical Teacher, Corporate Trainer, and Employee

By Walter Rodriguez, PhD, PE

In the rapidly evolving, technology-driven business ecosystem, nurturing and training intrapreneurial & logistical* teachers and employees is critical for schools and corporations aiming to foster engagement, innovation, and adaptability.

The AULA project by Adaptiva Corp and Coursewell.com, in collaboration with other SWFL employers, is a pioneering initiative focusing on the professional development and career certification of educators, trainers, and staff—from PK-12 Education and Healthcare Administration to Supply Chain Logistics and 3-D Printing Construction-Manufacturing.

Understanding Intrapreneurship

Intrapreneurship involves cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset within an organization's employees, nurturing and training them to think creatively, take initiative, and drive innovation internally. This approach leads to developing new products, materials, services, curricula, and processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.

Intrapreneurial & Logistical* Professional Development

AULA is an acronym for Asynchronous Ubiquitous Learning Academy. AULA (classroom in Spanish) is a unique online and mobile platform designed collaboratively by teachers to train intrapreneurial & logistical employees—including teachers and corporate trainers. It operates on a "learning-by-teaching" model within a hybrid (asynchronous and synchronous) learning environment. This method allows flexibility and caters to the evolving needs of the SWFL workforce.

*According to the Cambridge English Dictionary, logistical is the process of planning and organizing to make sure that resources are in the places where they are needed, so that an activity or process happens effectively. Intrapreneurial is the practice of exhibiting innovative activities within existing organizations. Intrapreneurial teachers & trainers demonstrate behavior in their ethos and practices, and through activities sustaining students’ engagement in entrepreneurial learning processes.

Key Benefits of the AULA Approach

  • Upskilling and Certification: AULA offers a range of certification paths to enhance in-demand job skills. Organizations can stay competitive and innovative by equipping employees with the latest knowledge and skills.

  • Fostering an Entrepreneurial Mindset: The program encourages employees to think like entrepreneurs, driving internal innovation and taking ownership of projects.

  • Adaptability and Scalability: The AULA model is designed to be adaptable and scalable, making it suitable for various organizational sizes and types.

  • Collaborative Learning Environment: The platform promotes a peer—and—collaborative learning environment where employees learn from each other and grow together.

Implementing the AULA Model in Your School or Organization

To integrate the AULA project into your organization:

  1. Identify Training Needs: Assess the skill gaps in your organization and identify areas where intrapreneurial & logistical skills can be enhanced.

  2. Engage with AULA: Collaborate with the AULA project to tailor a program that meets your organizational needs.

  3. Encourage Participation: Motivate your employees to participate in the program and apply their learning in their daily roles.

  4. Monitor and Adapt: Continuously monitor the program's impact and adapt—ensuring it remains relevant and effective.

Developing intrapreneurial & logistical employees is not just about equipping them with new skills; it's about transforming the organizational culture to one that embraces innovation, creativity, and proactive problem-solving. The AULA project offers a robust framework to achieve this transformation, making it an invaluable resource for organizations seeking to stay ahead in the modern business world.
