Summary: Leveraging our sponsored certification program experience with DOD MyCAA, NSF Playing and Inventing, and MedCerts' SWFL Workforce Certification Training, we're launching AULA—a real mobile (RV) high-tech classroom and its equivalent virtual learning platform for training specialized logistical and intrapreneurial teachers and staff in SWFL.

This sustaining workforce development initiative will upskill and certify over 100 participants—including Adaptiva Corp interns and recruits, Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers & staff at the School District of Lee County (SDLC), and The Immokalee Foundation (TIF) staff, and beyond. By first focusing on training our trainers and teachers, with career-specific and “learning-by-teaching” methodology we will maximize our impact in SWFL.

We are committed to hiring or accelerating employees’ career pathways via continuous training post-award. We will develop and modify programs to align with employers' requirements, offering certification training to accommodate work schedules. Sustain training by sharing programs after the expiration of grant funding.

Why: To adapt to changing market demands, we're committed to advancing our workforce's careers and skills, particularly focusing on high-demand areas—from PK-12 Education and Healthcare Administration to Supply Chain Logistics and 3-D Printing Home Module Manufacturing, and the required logistics and entrepreneurial capabilities.

Who: AULA is designed for the Southwest Florida workforce. The initial phase will involve around 100 employees.

What: AULA offers certification training in sectors identified by FGCU's RERI, through both onsite and online platforms. It includes various learning paths for in-demand skills.

How: Participants will undergo training and earn certifications in their chosen paths, with ongoing development of AULA's learning spaces—online (Virtual) and remote/mobile (RV).

Sustainability: To maintain the AULA workforce development initiative and ensure its ongoing sustainability post-grant, Adaptiva Corp's Coursewell.com will provide enduring online support through its Learning Management System, and courses and materials will be duplicated to be accessed at all collaborator institutions LMS.

Certification Paths: The program offers various career paths with industry-recognized qualifications. It includes:

Technical Certification: Focused on industry-specific skills, offering credentials in fields like PK-12 education, healthcare administration, logistics, and manufacturing, i.e., Certified Entrepreneurship Teacher (CET), ASCM Certified Supply Chain Technology Certificate, and Coursewell's Logistics+AI+PM Certificate demonstrating skills in the following logistics sectors: Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail and E-commerce, Tourism and Hospitality, Agriculture, Construction and Real Estate, and Government.
